Wet Sand Making & Washing Line

Plan a wet sand-making line from feed preparation through crushing, shaping, washing and fine recovery. Start with the material, required grading and available water system.

Start with the raw material and the size fractions you need.

Define the material and project duty

This catalogue process combines crushing, sand making, screening, washing and fine recovery. River-pebble and sand-and-gravel projects are starting points for the material discussion; the actual feed and finished-product specification determine which stages are needed.

This is a conceptual process-planning route. Equipment sizes, capacity and final product quality have not been assigned to a specific site.

Process stages to review

  1. Hopper & feederDefine the receiving point and the feed delivered to the line.
  2. Jaw crushingReview the primary crushing duty against incoming size and material.
  3. Cone crushingReview the next crushing stage and its connection to sand making.
  4. VSI sand makingDefine the shaping and sand-making duty.
  5. ScreeningSeparate the required sizes and identify the oversize return route.
  6. Sand washingSpecify the washing duty and water supply.
  7. Fine recovery & dewateringReview the fine fraction to recover and the dewatering requirement.

Oversize returns to crushing; wash water enters recovery and water treatment.

Information needed for selection

Project inputInformation to provideScope to review
Feed conditionMaterial identification, grading, clay and moisture; representative samples if available.Feed preparation and the crushing stages to investigate.
Finished sandRequired grading and limits on fine content, with the applicable buyer specification.Sand making, screening and washing duties.
Operating dutyRequired throughput and operating hours, including any existing line data.Equipment sizing and process balance.
Water systemAvailable water supply, return-water quality and slurry-handling arrangements.Washing, recovery and water-treatment interfaces.
Installation scopeExisting equipment, layout, elevations and available power.New line, expansion or selected machine replacement.
Use measured site and material information where available; list unknown inputs for review.

Equipment and supply scope

The listed route includes jaw and cone crushing, VSI sand making, screening, sand washing, fine recovery and dewatering. Confirm whether the proposal should include the complete line or selected stages. Water treatment, tanks, pumps and transfer interfaces need an explicit agreed scope.

Prepare the enquiry

  • Feed clay and moisture
  • Sand grading and fine content
  • Water supply, reuse and slurry handling

Send the material, operating duty and supply scope for this process.
