A jaw crusher for stone and ore preparation
Compression between moving and fixed jaws reduces raw stone. PE and PEX configurations cover different feed openings and discharge ranges for downstream crushing.
Use the PE / PEX series for initial equipment comparison in stone crushing, ore preparation and aggregate production. Match the model to the actual feed and the equipment before and after the crusher.
Models and reference specifications
Compare the individual model rows. The discharge-opening range is a machine setting; it is not a promise that every discharged particle will meet a finished-product size specification.

Feed-opening dimensions for PEX250×1000 and PEX300×1300 remain To confirm in the source table. Do not infer these dimensions from the model name.
Capacity and motor selection must be checked against the material, feed grading, operating setting and installation scope. The table is a catalogue comparison, not a project-specific duty selection.
Material suitability and selection
The material route below starts with limestone. Suitability still needs review against the actual rock properties and operating conditions; the material name alone does not determine the model.
| Selection input | What to provide |
|---|---|
| Feed material | Material name, representative sample or available test data, moisture and clay content. |
| Feed grading | Maximum lump size and feed-size distribution, including occasional oversize. |
| Required output | Target throughput in t/h and downstream product-size requirements. |
| Plant connection | Feeder arrangement, discharge height and the next crushing or screening stage. |
| Installation | New plant or replacement duty, available space, power supply and site constraints. |
Define the supply scope
Specify whether you need a crusher alone, replacement equipment within an existing line, or a crushing and screening package. Include the feeder, conveyors, screening and dust-control interfaces that need to be reviewed.
- Material type, moisture and clay content
- Feed grading and target throughput
- Product requirements and upstream/downstream interfaces
