Mineral Processing

Use sample evidence to assess preparation, grinding and separation stages.

Let the sample guide the route

Mineralogy, liberation and test work establish the basis for comparing process options. Ore names and feed assays alone cannot determine equipment configuration, recovery or concentrate quality.

Review the stages together

Preparation and classification may be followed by grinding and an appropriate combination of gravity, magnetic or flotation separation. These are process options for assessment, not a commitment that every method suits a particular feed.

Bring the evidence into the discussion

  • A representative sample description and mineral analysis.
  • Feed grading, assay and available separation-test reports.
  • Target concentrate or recovered-product specification.
  • Required capacity and the intended operating schedule.
  • Water, utilities, concentrate handling and tailings arrangements.

Define which stages are already established, which require testing, and whether the enquiry concerns a single machine or a coordinated equipment scope.
